Welcome to Vamos Local! By visiting vamoslocal.org, exploring participating businesses, or taking part in the Vamos Local campaign, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. About Vamos Local
Vamos Local is a community campaign organized by the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber (HMC) to encourage people to discover and support Latino-owned restaurants, cafés, food carts, and other food businesses throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
The website provides information about participating businesses, campaign activities, special offers, and opportunities to participate in the Vamos Local Bingo Challenge.
2. Using Our Website
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when submitting forms or participating in campaign activities.
You may not misuse the website, submit fraudulent information, interfere with its operation, or attempt to manipulate campaign entries or prize submissions.
HMC reserves the right to restrict access or disqualify submissions involving suspected fraud or misuse.
3. Vamos Local Bingo Challenge
The Vamos Local Bingo Challenge encourages participants to visit participating businesses, complete activities on a Bingo card, and check in through designated campaign forms.
Participants are responsible for:
Visiting participating businesses and completing eligible Bingo activities.
Submitting check-ins using accurate information.
Using the same email address across check-ins and Bingo completion submissions.
Tracking and marking their own Bingo card.
Submitting completed Bingo milestones through the designated form.
Submitting a check-in does not automatically update your Bingo card.
Completing a Bingo activity or milestone does not automatically guarantee a prize. Prize eligibility, entry limits, deadlines, winner selection, and other conditions are subject to the campaign's official prize rules.
HMC reserves the right to verify submissions and disqualify fraudulent or ineligible entries.
4. Prizes and Promotions
Vamos Local may offer prizes, giveaways, or other promotional opportunities throughout the campaign.
Prizes are subject to availability, eligibility requirements, and any additional rules or restrictions provided by HMC or the prize sponsor.
Participating businesses may also offer featured menu items, discounts, or special promotions. These offers are provided by the individual businesses and may be subject to availability or additional conditions.
HMC is not responsible for changes in pricing, menu availability, business hours, or promotional offers made by participating businesses.
5. Participating Businesses
Vamos Local features independently owned businesses selected to participate in the campaign.
HMC provides participating businesses with promotional support at no cost, which may include website listings, social media features, email promotions, printed materials, marketing resources, and other campaign-related opportunities.
Participation does not guarantee increased sales, customer traffic, revenue, or media coverage.
Participating businesses are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, honoring agreed-upon campaign offers during their applicable promotional period, and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Business Listings and External Links
We work to keep business listings accurate and current. However, business information, operating hours, menu items, pricing, and availability may change without notice.
Our website may include links to participating businesses, social media accounts, Google Maps, and other third-party websites.
HMC does not control these external websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or services.
7. Photos, Logos, and Promotional Materials
Participating businesses that authorize the use of their materials grant HMC permission to use approved business names, logos, photos, videos, menu items, website links, social media handles, and other approved public business information for Vamos Local promotional purposes.
These materials may appear on the Vamos Local website, HMC social media channels, email newsletters, printed materials, media outreach, and partner campaign promotions.
Businesses retain ownership of their original materials. HMC's permission to use those materials is limited to authorized promotional purposes.
Website visitors may not copy, reproduce, or commercially reuse campaign branding, website content, or promotional materials without appropriate permission.
8. Privacy and Information Collection
When you submit a check-in, Bingo completion form, or other website form, HMC may collect personal information needed to administer the campaign.
Information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By submitting information, you acknowledge that HMC may use it to manage campaign participation, verify entries, communicate with participants, and administer prizes.
9. Website Availability and Changes
HMC may update website content, business listings, campaign activities, or promotional information as needed.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain an accessible and functional website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
Material changes to prize eligibility or entry requirements will be communicated through the applicable official campaign rules.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HMC is not responsible for losses or damages arising from website interruptions, inaccurate third-party business information, or products and services provided by independently operated participating businesses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes to These Terms
HMC may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes to the website, campaign, or applicable legal requirements.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

HMC’s Commitment
HMC is committed to supporting selected Vamos Local businesses by providing no-cost promotional support throughout the campaign. This may include listing your business on the Vamos Local website, featuring your business through social media and digital marketing, sharing campaign materials, and helping connect the community to Latino-owned restaurants during the October 1–31 campaign.
HMC will also provide participating businesses with access to marketing resources and training support, which may include video, branding, and a marketing toolkit to help businesses promote their special offer and increase visibility.
While HMC will work to promote participating businesses and pursue media opportunities, participation does not guarantee media coverage, increased sales, or a specific number of new customers.
Information use & privacy
All information submitted through this application will be kept by HMC and used only for purposes related to the Vamos Local campaign.
HMC will not sell, share, or distribute your application information to outside parties. Contact information and internal application details will only be used by HMC to review your application, communicate with you about the campaign, provide training or marketing support, and follow up after the campaign.
If selected, HMC may use approved public business information, such as your business name, logo, photos, website, social media handles, menu items, and special offer, for Vamos Local promotional purposes only. This may include promotion on the Vamos Local website, HMC social media, email newsletters, printed materials, media outreach, and partner campaign materials.
Consent and Acknowledgement
By submitting this application, I understand and agree that:
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Space is limited, and selected businesses will be notified by HMC.
If selected, my business agrees to participate in the Vamos Local campaign from October 15-November 15, 2026.
My business agrees to honor the special offer selected in this application during the campaign period.
HMC may use my business name, logo, photos, videos, menu items, website, social media handles, and other publicly shared business information for promotional purposes related to Vamos Local.
HMC may feature my business in campaign materials, including but not limited to the Vamos Local website, social media, email newsletters, print materials, media outreach, and partner promotions.
I give HMC permission to contact me about my application, campaign participation, training opportunities, marketing materials, media opportunities, and the post-campaign survey.
I agree to be added to HMC’s email list to receive updates about Vamos Local, business resources, events, trainings, and other HMC programs.
I understand that I can unsubscribe from HMC emails at any time.
I understand that information submitted through this application will be kept by HMC and used only for purposes related to Vamos Local and HMC business support. HMC will not sell, share, or distribute my application information to outside parties.
I understand that HMC will provide promotional support but does not guarantee media coverage, sales, customer traffic, or revenue.
I confirm that the information provided in this application is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
